Review Notice
This page is general website information for the Historical Glass Museum Foundation. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice. The Foundation should have this page reviewed by an authorized officer, accountant, or attorney before publication.
Privacy
This website is designed as a simple static site. It does not directly create visitor accounts, process payments, collect personal information through a contact form, or store visitor information in a website database.
If you call the Museum, email the Museum, open the Google map, use a third-party donation tool, or interact with a future newsletter or payment service, those services may collect information under their own privacy policies.
If the Foundation later adds analytics, online donations, newsletter signup forms, embedded videos, cookies, or other third-party tools, this page should be updated before launch to describe what is collected, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how visitors can ask questions.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for general museum visitors and supporters. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If future forms or educational programs collect information from minors, the Foundation should review the privacy language before launch.
Donations and Memberships
The Historical Glass Museum Foundation describes itself as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. Membership benefits, goods, services, or discounts may affect the deductible amount.
Donors should keep their receipts and consult a tax advisor for their own situation. The Foundation is responsible for providing required acknowledgments and disclosures for donations, including written acknowledgments when required by IRS rules.
California Nonprofit and Charitable Solicitation
Because the Foundation is located in California and invites support from the public, the Foundation should confirm that it is current with California charitable organization registration, annual reporting, and any fundraising requirements that apply to its activities.
If the Foundation uses raffles, paid fundraisers, online donation processors, or outside fundraising campaigns, those activities may have additional rules and reporting requirements.
Accessibility
The goal of this website is to be usable by visitors on phones, tablets, desktop screens, keyboards, and assistive technology. If you have trouble using any part of the website, please contact the Museum so the issue can be reviewed.
Photo and Content Rights
Images, text, logos, and collection information should be used only when the Foundation owns them, created them, or has permission to publish them. Donated photographs and archival materials should be checked before use online.
External Links
This website may link to outside services, including maps, phone links, donation tools, social media, or archived media. The Foundation is not responsible for the privacy practices, accessibility, or content of third-party websites.
